Returns & Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Gleamax™ purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our process for returns, exchanges, and refunds for orders placed directly through gleamax.com.au.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of our change-of-mind policy — repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue.

Change-of-Mind Returns

⏱ 14-day return window
  • Item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided.
  • Return request must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns on opened, used, or items not in original condition.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund at no cost to you. Please retain all packaging and photograph any damage — this may be required to process your claim.

How to Initiate a Return

Email support@gleamax.com.au with the following:

  • Your order number.
  • Your name and contact details.
  • A brief description of the reason for the return.
  • Photos if the item is damaged or faulty.

Our team will respond within 2 business days with instructions including a return address. Please do not send items back before receiving authorisation from us.

Return Shipping

  • Faulty or incorrect items — return shipping costs are covered by Gleamax.
  • Change-of-mind returns — the customer is responsible for return shipping. We recommend a tracked service; we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the credit.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer an exchange for a different product or variant where stock is available. If the exchange item is of greater value, you will be charged the difference; if of lesser value, a partial refund will be issued.

This Returns & Refund Policy applies only to orders placed through gleamax.com.au. For Amazon or other retailer purchases, please refer to that retailer’s returns policy directly.
